Hello!
We are Intellis Health LLC, dba City Care Medical. 

We are a medical group practice that specializes in family medicine.   At City Care Medical, we strive to help individuals, families, and communities with their physical and mental health needs.
 
We’ve got some exciting news: we’re growing our team! We’re currently looking for a compassionate, full-time Medical Assistant to join us at our Farmingville location in Nassau County. 

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the physician with patient care including taking vital signs, obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with biopsies and select surgery procedures.  The perfect candidate will also have working knowledge of medical Spanish, E-clinical Works EMR, phlebotomy, EKG, and specimen collection.

We are seeking someone with the following Education and Experience:**
  • High school diploma necessary or some college education preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a primary care office working as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant definitely a plus!
Preferred Essential Skills and Abilities:**
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Empathetic with patient needs and concerns.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs in regard to patient treatment.
  • Spanish Speaking necessary
 The position will be compensated on a competitive hourly rate that will be based on the individual's education and experience.  We offer paid holidays and other paid time off benefits.  Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter.

Compensación: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
